To start this drill football players will set up either cones or hurdles in 3 feet distances. If you are a younger athlete, then you will set your cones closer together. Next, you will quickly step over each individual cone moving back-and-forth activating your legs. Be explosive and quickly move from side to side. Make sure that you keep your weight centered as you reach the outer edges of the drill. This will help you change direction and move quickly back across the stationary objects. This drill is designed to increase strength and speed. Move quickly back-and-forth for 15 seconds before taking a break.
